RADIO BROADCASTER & AUTHOR – STUART MACONIE AT THE 2016 #ChipLitFest

Staff from the team at Pulham & Sons (Coaches) Ltd recently met with their Literary Festival partner and travelogue writer, radio broadcaster Stuart Maconie. Stuart was at the Chipping Norton Literary Festival (21-24 April) to promote his New book ‘Pie at Night’ and met the team prior to his literary event – a funny and affectionate hour of stories of music, food and people he has sampled and met through his journeys and work.

Pulhams Coaches is the executive coach travel and bus Company, based in Bourton-on-the-Water, and sponsored and operated the free shuttle bus from the Festival Car Park into town and Glyme Hall. The organisers of the Festival paired Pulhams Coaches with Stuart Maconie – the theme of travel, for the purpose of this year’s event.

Sue Gregory, Pulham & Sons, Business Manager commented “Stuart was warm, engaging and very funny! It was a delight to meet him and a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon – in the also delightful Theatre in Chipping Norton. The Free Shuttle Bus worked and operated successfully, ferrying passengers to each of the literary events – it was a pleasure to sponsor the Chipping Norton Literary Festival and find out all about ‘Pie at Night.”

Jenny Dee, Festival Director added, “The free shuttle bus was a welcome addition to proceedings over the Saturday and Sunday of the Festival and we thank Pulhams Coaches for their support and Stuart for his lively and entertaining hour.”
